PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Port of Pecem thermal Power plant fueled by imported pulverized coal will have a rated capacity of 720 MW (2 x 360 MW) and will be located at Porto do Pecem neighborhood approximately 60km far from the city of Fortaleza, state of Ceara, in the Brazilian northwest area. The units will have a closed cooling loop circulating water and a Desulphuriser to reduce the emissions of gases - FGD (Flue Gas Desulphurization).

Service rendering to the Owner - Owner’s Engineer – in a first step embracing a technical advisement for the contract negotiation with the EPC - “Engineering Procurement Construction”, preparation of the general technical specifications to all the disciplines involved, analysis of proposals and performance evaluation of the main equipment, technical negotiations with the Suppliers, preparation of the directives to the relevant areas involved as Natural Environment, Heath Safety and Security Environment (HSSE), Trainning, Construction, Tests, Commissioning, and others.
In a further step, the work will encompass the analysis and approval of manufacturer’s and design documents, as well as site activities including construction and erection supervision, quality control, planning, costs, environment, security and commissioning of the generator units.
